Valkyrie Nightclub (Manila)

Valkyrie is located in The Palace in Manila, an entertainment complex with several clubs and bars such as Revel, the Pool Club and Brewery.

It is the largest nightclub in Manila and one of the most popular with foreigners (including foreign girls). If you are in Manila for the first time, I would advise you to visit it first because it is easy to meet people there. Single guys will be happy to know lots of Filipino girls come to Manila for flirting. It pretends to be luxurious but it is rather mainstream. DJs play famous EDM songs, sometimes Rn'B. They have foreign guest DJs several times a month.

As almost everywhere in Manila, the dress code is not strict and you can enter with a t-shirt. I've seen people with shorts and sandals too.

The club is shaped in the form of a square. You have the bars on the sides with the VIP corners. The dancing area is large but half of it is taken up with tables. You also have small podiums. The sound system is pretty good and loud while the lighting is dark. I visited at 3am and the atmosphere was pretty wild. The club was packed, sexy dancers were dancing on the stage, people were drunk. On the biggest nights you have up to 2,000 clubbers at the same time.

I paid 1,000 pesos entrance in Revel and I was given free entry to Pool Club and Valkyrie. It works in the other way too. Considering I got two drinks complimentary, it is quite a good deal and worth it.

Overall:
Even though I'm not a fan of EDM, Valkyrie is still one of the best clubs in Manila. High potential for picking up girls and fun ambiance. If you don't like it you still have the option of visiting one of its sister venues. Recommended. It is similar to X2 nightclub in Jakarta.
